Customer Information - Terms & Conditions

Placing Your Order

Customers can order items directly from the website, but for additional product information or to discuss your requirements please contact us by email of telephone.

Online Orders - This is the simplest and fastest way to order. As soon as the secure online payment process is completed orders are automatically passed directly to our warehouse for immediate packing and dispatch. Telephone Orders - Call us on 01825 732515 with your order and pay by credit/debit card. If answerphone, please leave your name and telephone number and we will call you straight back.
Mail Orders - Order your items using the website and on the Checkout page under payment options choose 'Mail / Cheque'. When sending payment please include your order reference number.

Delivery

For stencils and other small items we offer Free Standard UK Delivery for orders over £30*. Smaller orders are subject to a fixed delivery charge of £3.50 per order.

Wooden House Signs and other larger or high value items are delivered by courier at a cost of £7.95 - UK mainland only.  Note that until 28th February 2014 customers can claim FREE DELIVERY on all orders for house signs by entering code FD0214 in the box on the checkout page.

*These prices apply to UK Mainland delivery only . Courier deliveries to certain UK postcodes (Highlands, Islands & remote areas) may be subject to a surcharge in which case customer will be advised prior to despatch.  For international delivery costs please enquire.

Orders for stock items are usually dispatched same-day. Orders for non-stock items which have to be made-to -order are usually completed and despatched within 10 working days.  A signature may be required for larger or more valuable orders.

Returns Policy

If not completely satisfied, goods can be returned within 10 days of purchase subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. Customers must obtain authorisation before returning items. Contact us by email or telephone.
2. Return postage is at the customers expense.
3. Returned goods must be unopened and in unused condition.
4. Postage and packing charges are not refundable. If the order was subject to a free delivery discount the delivery cost will be deducted from the refund amount if the balance of the order no longer qualifies.
5. Please contact us if you wish to return items as we are unable to accept unauthorised returns.
6. Items are returned at customers risk so customers are advised to pack items carefully and retain proof of posting. Valuable items should be sent using an insured service.

UK customers may exercise their rights under the UK Distance Selling Regulations to return a order and receive a full refund including any P&P charges if the complete order is returned within 7 days of receipt. Please note that return postage is at the customers expense. These rules do not apply for faulty items which will be replaced at our expense. Please contact us directly to resolve any issues with faulty goods.

Made to Order and Customised goods are cannot be returned except if they are damaged or faulty.

Privacy Policy

We do not disclose buyers personal information to third parties other than where necessary for order processing and fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party. For security reasons any payment card details are only requested in a secure area and are processed in an encrypted form. This site uses cookies to track items in your shopping basket and to fulfill your order.

You can tell an area is secure by the closed padlock sign on your browser and the address bar starts https:// These details are encrypted (128bit SSL - Industry standard Secured Sockets Layer encryption) before transmission ensuring they are completely safe and cannot be read by any unauthorised person. We use the experienced services of Worldpay and The Royal Bank of Scotland to handle payment processing.
